Key Responsibility
- The Location Planner Mgr is responsible for in season products sales and stock analysis and followup actions. Ensures stock availability meet both LensCrafters customers and Luxottica targets.
- Understands retail trends and identifies risks and opportunities from multiple touch points, recommend the business solutions to satisfy external and internal customers.
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions.
Job Specifications
- Supports the key item plans and monitors the receipt flow to maximize service level.
- Prepares promotional and markdown strategy through partnership with Buying. Analyzes impact and effectiveness and makes recommendations for future promotions and markdowns.
- Recommends sharing and transfer of inventory between stores and direct to maximize inventory investment.
- Develop specific reports to support the business and complete ad hoc reporting as needed to drive or react to the current or future business needs.
- Analyzes products performance on SKU level including sales and stock to identify problems and opportunities.
- Visits stores and reports on observations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree required and a minimum of 4-5 years of merchandise retailing experience.
- Ability to think objectively and interpret from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Can present ideas and direction to others. Can build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners. Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with or a strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools preferred.

- Must be organized, disciplined and able to work under pressure while being flexible and able to adapt.
