POSITION SUMMARY:
This regional marketing role will be responsible for building the Transitions brand and overall photochromic category in Greater China (China, Taiwan and Hong Kong), developing and implementing programs to establish Transitions brand equity at trade levels with the objective of driving brand preference amongst target ECP/retail groups to positively impact ECP\'s recommendations – as well as accelerate the penetration rate of Transitions lenses, while growing the total photochromic category.
The incumbent will help champion Transitions brand building efforts for the region, driving direct brand building at trade/retail levels in alignment with consumer initiatives and in partnership with the local marketing lead/teams. This role will also require close partnerships with the trade development/commercial teams in building and promoting the Transitions brand in the different trade channels.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
? Recommend, develop & implement the appropriate trade strategy for Greater China, to include
? Definition of trade objectives and priorities that align with the Greater China business objectives
? Develop Trade media and PR strategy (where applicable) including relevant communication plans
? Help formulate & implement overall go-to-market trade plans with key focus on trade engagement initiatives eg. co-op tactical programs, retail chain/key account support, last mile elements such as in-store presence/merchanding, selling protocol & tools etc and monitor execution with BUs and Transitions trade activators
? Education and Training program: help develop trade education/training materials for ECPs, including salesforce suppport
? Helpand work on pricing recommendations of BUs etc based on market insights & understanding of BU’s business as well work with BUs in the co-ordination of new product launches at trade level
? Work with the local marketing lead/teams/trade activators to ensure optimal local execution of plans at the ECP and retail front
? Provide the trade competitive activities information and analysis
? Achievement of agreed regional marketing KPI’s on an annual basis
? Effectively manage the trade and co-op marketing budgets

Required experience, skills and knowledge
? Degree in Marketing / Business
? Approx 9 years of marketing experience (with at least 5 years in B2B environment)
? At ease with technical topics (scientific background or previous experience in medical devices / technical fields is an advantage)
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including good fluency in English - Cantonese would be an advantage)
? Able to translate technical product performance into consumer-friendly communication.
