Key Responsibilities
The Location Planner is responsible for in season products' sales and stock analysis and followup actions. Ensures stock availability meet both LensCrafters customers and Luxottica targets.
Understands retail trends and identifies risks and opportunities from multiple touch points, recommend the business solutions to satisfy external and internal customers
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
Job Specifications
Supports the key item plans and monitors the receipt flow to maximize service level
Prepares promotional and markdown strategy through partnership with Buying. Analyzes impact and effectiveness and makes recommendations for future promotions and markdowns.
Recommends sharing and transfer of inventory between stores and direct to maximize inventory investment
Develop specific reports to support the business and complete ad hoc reporting as needed to drive or react to the current or future business needs
Analyzes products performance on sku level including sales and stock to identify problems and opportunities
Visits stores and reports on observations
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors Degree required and a minimum of 1-2 years of merchandise retailing experience
Ability to think objectively and interpret from quantitative and qualitative data
Can present ideas and direction to others. Can build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners. Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with or a strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools preferred.
Possesses strong organization and time management skills. Possess a strong sense of urgency and a high level of attention to detail
Must be organized, disciplined and able to work under pressure while being flexible and able to adapt
