Deliver product sales, margin and inventory plans to deliver local top & bottom line objectives
Merchandise Financial
Develop merchandise financial plans to deliver top and bottom line objectives: sales, margin and inventory by brand.
Partner with local finance on Margin targets, global production planning on inventory targets and global buyers to align Brand strategies with financial targets.
Inventory optimization
Drive sku segmentation and service level objectives, in term of:
1. Key Item definition
2. Back Order and In-Stock Mgmt.
3. New product introduction
Partner with global production planning to meet on-time delivery of NPI’s, marketing activities and Service Level objectives.
Phase out inventory strategy
Cooperate in the definition of the exit strategy for out of collection items, in order to support the in collection models. Evaluate the impact of the different actions of returns to primary distribution center/external vendor, destructions .
Partner with global buyers on Exit strategy
Desired Skills and Experience
Must have a numerical mindset, able to work per priority and targets, presenting ideas and driving the others via a problem solving approach.
Can build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners. Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with or a strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools preferred.
Must be numerical, organized, disciplined and able to work under pressure while being flexible and able to adapt.
Strong English communication skills and systemic orientation are a must. Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) as well.
